10 characteristics of algorithms. For validation, a cross-validation is performed on the calculated parameters of each algorithm to determine the best algorithm for each of the variables. Each algorithm is represented as a matrix of variable-by-variable basis functions. To construct the algorithm for a given data set, a trained network is added. Parameterization of the network is defined by the fact that the input and output variables are constrained to be zero when some other inputs are considered, since the network can be trained for this data set without the computation of each variable. To indicate to a researcher or expert, the data set has been divided in blocks of size 6–20, which can be labeled: a 6-min block with the average over 500 training blocks, a 20-min block with the average over 500 test blocks, and one 5-min block with the average over 500 test blocks. Conclusions =========== The main goal of this paper is to analyze the features of the ANN in order to explore its capacity in designing its training architecture and evaluation tool. The aim is to reach a more definite conclusion that consists in the training and evaluation of the ANN to form predictive models. The output generated was an average of the ANN output and a Gaussian kernel is shown to be a fair approximation that gives a less accurate performance to the ANN. The method proposed results in a closed classification and regression model under a new experimental challenge: real and simulated data. In the closed classification, the ANN is employed as the input, and a set of models is trained to generate predictions made on the training data. The ANN is validated in the training stage by performing a series of steps. The method takes into account information about what the values of the input variables are and the possible attributes of the values generated. The value of the ANN for each data set is determined using the values of the input variables and the data set.
